     PFLAG (P-flag) s an organization of parents, families, allies and LGBTQ+ people. PFLAG envisions a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, valued, and affirmed inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.

    Since PFLAG's founding in 1973, PFLAG works everyday to ensure that LGBTQ+ people are safe, celebrated, empowered, and loved.

    Buffalo/Niagara PFLAG  (f you need support when a loved one comes out, we want to help and offer you opportunities to share with others.  We offer our Helpline 716-883-0384 and monthly Sharing Meetings.

By meeting people where they are and collaborating with others, PFLAG realizes its vision through:
    • Support for families, allies, and people who are LGBTQ+
    • Education for ourselves and others about the unique issues and challenges facing people who are LGBTQ+
    • Advocacy for policies and laws that are needed to ensure full equality and fight discrimination.
